The Haleyville Elementary ACIP (Continuous Improvement Plan) Team meets the second Tuesday of each month at 3:15 in the conference room.  The team analyzes data, develops goals, and designs strategies and action steps to improve our school.  We would like to invite our parents to partner with us in this process.  Today's meeting agenda includes analyzing data and reviewing goals from 2013-2014.

Last year there were over 7 million absences recorded in schools around the state. That equals 49 million hours of instruction lost. We want to do our part to reduce these numbers.

September is Attendance Awareness Month at HES. If students have perfect attendance Sept. 4th - Sept. 30, they will get to participate in the "Soak the Principal Sponge Throw." We want all students to be at HES everyday! #BeHere #LionPrideAttendance September

The Mission of HES is to prepare students to be resourceful, respectful, and responsible citizens and to facilitate learning for all students.
