Parent Portal Help Session Tuesday, 2/7 from 5-7 pm in HES library
The IT department will be available for parents who are having trouble logging into the home portal in the HES Library Media Lab on February 7 from 5 to 7 pm on Tuesday night. There will be a question and answer session with hands on practice. We will also verify your account is working before you leave. This is for all parents K-12th at HCS.

Touch Screen iPhone & iPad Donations
HES is currently taking donations of old touchscreen iPhones & iPads to use with our Accelerated Reader Online Tests and Educational Centers. If you have one you would like to donate, please drop it by the office. Even if battery is very weak, we will be glad to keep plugged up while students use. Thank you so much. We appreciate your support.

Our new student information system, “Information Now,” offers you a wide range of school information – grades, attendance, tardies, progress, etc. The information provided in our website is intended for use only by students and parents/guardians of our students. Please keep your username and password in a secure location. We will also have announcements on the parent portal to help keep you informed.
Your child has been assigned a login and temporary password to facilitate remote access to our School Information System.
The Amelia Center - Trauma & Grief Information
This site will give you information on how to answer children's questions about death, as well as a vast amount of information on how to deal with grief and help bereaved parents and family.

We will have school age child care with popcorn and drinks.
Our sessions last 45 minutes each and deal with everyday issues for parents - standardized test scores, homework, parenting skills, self esteem, Dauphin Island Mandatory Meeting, first grade, Renaissance program & technology.
