4th Grade Homework/Tests for January
4 – 7:
  • Reading – This week we are reading “TheHoudiniBox.”We will be working on Synonyms/Antonyms, Compare and Contrast, and Predicting. The tri-fold for extra credit is due by Thursday, January 6. We     will be testing on our story Friday, January 7.  ** Our Mid-Year DIBELS benchmark is near!! Our goal is 105. I have passed out to each student a Reading passage to practice their DIBELS. Please follow the instructions on the back. I will be counting this as a participation grade. Thanks for your help at home!
Math – Please check your assignment book daily for Math Assignments this week.  Mrs. Jones was out today with her daughter.
Language- DOL # 17 Test will be on Friday, January 7. Our Language skill this week is Singular and Plural Pronouns. This test is planned for Friday, January 7.
Writing/Spelling – Our Spelling skill this week is Contractions. We will be testing on this skill Friday, January 7. In Writing we will be writing a story about a discovery.
 Alabama History – We are starting Chapter 7 this week. You will receive a study guide this week.
 Science – We are starting Chapter 2 this week. You will receive a study guide this week.
